1. About RYDEX

RYDEX is a technology platform that connects riders with independent private hire drivers. RYDEX does not provide transportation services and is not a transport carrier.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old
• You must provide accurate information
• You must comply with UK laws and local PHV regulations

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Booking and Fares

• Fares are calculated dynamically
• Additional charges may apply (waiting time, tolls, cleaning)
• Prices are shown before confirmation where possible

5. Payments

Payments are processed via secure third-party payment providers. By using RYDEX, you authorise us to charge the selected payment method.

6. Driver Status

Drivers are independent contractors and are solely responsible for maintaining valid licences, insurance, and vehicle compliance with UK private hire regulations.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation fees may apply where permitted. Refunds are issued at RYDEX’s discretion in accordance with applicable law.

8. Acceptable Use

• No unlawful or abusive behaviour
• No misuse of the platform
• No fraudulent bookings

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose safety or legal risks.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, RYDEX shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
